1. About this journal
This is about my sister who went to Bulgaria to reunite with her lover. While she was there, she took a series of pictures showing me the landscape and customs.
2. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Sofia
St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Built in the Neo-Byzantine style, it serves as the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and is believed to be one of the 50 largest Christian church buildings by volume in the world. It is one of Sofia's symbols and a primary tourist attraction. The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia occupies an area of 3,170 square metres (34,100 sq ft) and can hold 5,000 people inside. It is believed to be among the 10 largest Eastern Orthodox church buildings and the largest cathedral in the Balkans. It is thought that until the year 2000, it was the largest completed Orthodox cathedral.
3. Seven Rila Lakes
The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of glacial lakes situated in the northwestern Rila Mountain in Bulgaria. They are the most visited group of lakes in Bulgaria. The lakes are situated at an elevation between 2,100 and 2,500 metres above sea level. The Seven Lakes are a popular tourist attraction in Bulgaria because of their stunning natural environment.
4. Delicious Foods
During the journey, my sister not only viewed many landscapes but also tasted many traditional and unique dishes. Seeing the photos of food, I can imagine how delicious they tasted, and I think you will agree with me after seeing the following photos!
